Intrauterine contraception devices such as the Levonogestrel and Copper releasing systems can be excellent for prevention of undesired pregnancy and management of periods. Sometime however the device or its strings are not where they should be.

Our team utilise the latest techniques including 3D reconstruction of the uterine cavity to identify where and how your IUD is placed as well as the string attached to their tip.
Insertion and removal under vision
Placing or removing an IUD is not always straight forward. At Saige ultrasound we team with clinicians experienced in IUD use to give them direct vision during the procedure, including those malpositioned IUDs, difficult anatomy, or just for your reasurrance.
